Lots of our blogging friends have been talking bout taking trips to Sonic. We don't have sonics here in SE PA, but we do have Rita's! They have yummy cold stuff called water ice - which is a lot like a slushy, but better. Mom & Dad like Mango flavor, but they have loads of others too. It's especially good mixed with their custard ice cream!Here Guinness & Shiloh are giving Dad their best sit & be good pose to see if he will share some.
And it works! Can you believe he fell for that!
Of course, Misty gets some too. From the picture here, it seems that Shiloh might like some more.Crazy mom and dad went out into the hot, hot heat without us today to go to something called Musikfest and listen to people woo. Mom says it wasn't as hot as she expected it to be and they discovered a couple of bands that they enjoyed: The Arrogant Worms and Zydepunk: New Orleans, Cajun, Klezmer, Breton, Irish, Gypsy Zydeco Music. The Arrogant Worms are really funny and The Zydepunks are pretty cool - even though the description & the accordions may scare off some.
We pups are glad they left us here in the AC. Now, can we have some more of that Water Ice stuff, please?

Wow....that musicfest sound like fun but I agree it was too hot! Mom said she rarely hears about klezmer music anywhere....she plays the clarinet you know...

Hmmmm.....Mom didn't mention that there was a Rita's near here! I think I need to talk to her! It's bad enough they just took Shyla out. Something about her homework assignment. This school stuff is getting out of hand. They went to Trappe Feed but it's okay cause they brought back food and treats for all of us. Shyla helped pick.

Rita's is on Charlotte & Wilson/Jackson whatever it's called there. Just far enough away for a good walk/drag the parents. MUSH!

Huh, I will have to see this water ice, it sounds delicious! Too bad you couldn't go sing along at Musikfest, but it's better than you were at home in the AC!

Wow that Rita's cold stuff sure looks good. We don't have any Rita's or Sonics here. I like to sit in the pool on the mat and have mom hand feed me icey cubies one by one, while I float. I keep trying to tell her to flavor them up!
