It's been a bit cooler here lately, so the dogs are enjoying the weather before it gets hot again. Also, Guinness hasn't been herself lately - she's got a case of the doggy flu that's goin round. Shiloh would like to taste one of Frankie Grrl's Sibe-tini's. Mom prefers chillin with Cosmo's. She loves Cosmos too. (Get it, Amber? hee hee!)So mom is back! I originall posted this on my personal blog, but I'm bored so...
Saw this on Sally's blog and thought I'd give it a go. She's a very cool lady & a creative soul.

What are your creative limits?
I'd like to think that I don't have too many. I've always thought of myself as a very creative person. I'm an actor, storyteller, children's siberian-er-librarian, crafty human, cook, decorator, make-up artist and all around hip & cool Dog Mom.
1. I have no interest in the following activities:
Scrapbooking, quilting, anything involving math or heavy thinking or many rigid rules - I am a free form girl.
2. Would love to try these things:
Jewelry making, toy making, stained glass, pottery, making handbags.

3. I do or have dabbled in these things:
Embroidery, sewing of clothes and other things, photography, wood working, gardening, writing, painting, beading.
4. Love it! These are my things:
Knitting, crochet, cooking, entertaining, decorating, storytelling & performing, teaching. I am also really into recycling or re-purposing clothing and other objects at the moment.
I'd really like to get my lazy ass in gear and make gifts for xmas this year. Yea, we'll see about
that. I'd also like to design yoga mats that people would like from something other than PVC. I imagine either something from really soft yarn or recycled clothing - quilted, but by machine. I think something tactile, but it can't be too much or it would be distracting during practice. Also not too lumpy, or balance would be an issue.

Or maybe a nightcap of Drambuie?

Hee hee hee! That was a good one about Cosmos! :)
Love,

PS: My mom has been making bags lately; she's teaching a class on Friday (tomorrow), in fact! If your mom needs any help or tips or anything, have her holler!
I'd love to see some pitcures. Will the Guide dog for the color blind be helping???
I think all our moms are into craft projets. Mine is working on a Christmas tree felt project.
Maybe they should make dog toys?
I would not mind testing them.

Oh I just love love love that Tini" glass there.!!!
Ok, My Mom is not very crafty...tho she would like to be.
At what? Hmm that would be the question. There are so many cool hobbies, but it seems she still is playing alot of catch up on old "need too's ya know? But she would rather be learning something really cool and nifty from you all.
You guys are really great at crafts, she has peeked around the blogs.
Your Cuzzzzzzzie,
Frankie Grrl
We hope Guinness is feeling better today. Dr. Don's tummy medicine works real well. Our Mom likes crafts if it doesn't involve a needle and thread. The family scatters when she heads for the sewing box.

Oh an Guiness,
We hope your tummy troubles are soon over! Keep us posted, k.
XOXOXOXO,
Frankie Grrl and Maddie the Chocolate Labbie
What is it with Moms and Dads? Are they that bored with us that they actually must do something not involved with furry children? Sometimes I feel ignored. I mean really now. Dad suddenly felt the need to build a new stair case. I don't get it. What was wrong with the old one? Then, I couldn't even go down the stairs for a whole day. Sheesh. His little projects never end. AND I must help him too. He always says to me that if he ever gets hurt that I would have to call 911. Does he not understand how hard it is to type on these blogs? And now he wants me to use a phone?? ....Ok ok. I'll get off my dogbox now... ..and I guess I like being next to him I suppose. So, then good luck with your projects too! Wooooooooo! -Rocky
From my blog (Dad said I should repost it): Guinness & Shiloh: One more comment, Dad came home the other day all excited repeating what he read on the "Do you Love me" post. He said he read it to everyone at work (that came by)... the part about you calling mom such a grrrl (using a dramatic doggy accent of course). He had everyone going at work!
A cosmo or any kind of vodka martini sounds most excellent right about now! Cute pups, and the husky lounging with the martini is classic.
Rocky: yep, our mom is such a mushy, gushy grrrl that she just ooohs & aahhs over all the sweet doggy pictures. And those 2 of you & Mati were particularly gush inspired.
Misty was doing her best "do you love me" poses last night with our dad in the big bed. Mom wanted to run off & get the camera, then she realized dad was nekkid & she shouldn't post pics like that!
Thanks for the shout-out, sister! I hope I get to see you on Wednesday night. :o)
