Haroo, pups. Shiloh here again. Today is New Year's Eve. I am looking forward to a lot of things this new year. Cuz the end of this one has been really ruff.
I have been not feeling very well since that evil party Mom & Dad had. The day after I was really hurtin pretty bad. So bad that I couldn't walk or even stand up too well. Dr. Ross says I have arthritis in my front and back legs. He gave me stuff to take, which Mom & Dad put peanut butter all over to make it taste better. It's been a few days and I am only feeling a little bit better. Mom very concerned and she gives me lots of extra pets and treats. I don't mind that part so much at all.
Genny is being real nice to me, though sometimes she is so interested in something that she forgets and almost bowls me over. Silly grrl.
We both want to wish all of our friends a very happy new year, filled with lots of love and belly rubs. Let's all make it a good one!
Roo,
Shiloh
This is the place where all are welcomed with open arms, as long as you don't mind a little dog hair

I love Santa Paws
Haroo everyone! It was a good Christmas after all. Mom & Dad's annual invasion of bipeds was successful from their point of view. Me, I stayed in my crate to avoid all of the hubbub. Too many bipeds for me, especially the small ones. They get all grabby. Better to stay out of the action.
Anyroo, after that, Dad cleaned up and gave us some party leftovers...yum, meatballs! We all settled down for a long winter's nap. It even snowed! White Christmas!
Genny let the bipeds sleep in a wee bit, but finally roused them - it was Christmas morning after all! Dad grumbled a bit, I think, but then he remembered...presents!
I love Santa Paws! He brought us some great toys. This is Fuzzy Penguin. Genny wanted Fuzzy Penguin, but Santa Paws left her for me!
Mom got a new camera & Dad a new iPad thingy. I am sure Mom will be taking lots of photos, so stay tuned.

B-A-T-H
Hi, everypup! Genny here today. What an interesting day. Daddy stayed home with us, except for quick trip out. When he came back his fur on his head was much shorter. I love my Daddy and he looked very handsome, but I was wondering why his fur was shorter.
Later, he took us on a ride to pick Mommy up from wrrrk. It's a fun ride and mommy is always happy to see us waiting for her.
Then they took us to a place where there was not only a lot of people but also lots of puppies and kitties. A little sibe puppy was there - she was so cute! she told us very emphatically that we should play with her. But we had things to do, according to Mommy. After we checked it, we went to a very small room. Mommy made sure we closed the door tight. Shiloh was very worried about this room. It's like he had been there before and he wanted out very badly.

Shiloh was first to do whatever Mom & Dad called a B-A-T-H. Doesn't he look funny all wet? They then made him all sudsy and squirted him with water. I watched them very closely scrub-a-dub-dubbing. His fur turned pretty white again, and he smelled better too after.
After they got him out of the tub and really wiped him down good with towels. they turned to me. Uh-oh, they were gonna do the same thing to me! i was a bit worried at first. Was I gonna turn white like Shiloh? they squirted me with water too - fun! Then they suds me all up and boy did that feel good. I cooperated a lot, turning this way and that so they could get me good and clean all over. Many more squirts of water later, I was a fresh grrl! Wet, but smelling pretty. the towel rub down was really fun.
Shiloh says that this B-A-T-H is a lead up to that big party Mon & Dad had last year. I liked the party, but Shiloh hid in his crate the whole time. I visited all of our guest, especially the little ones. They like sharing with me. I hope I get to do that again soon.
So, I'm here to tell ya that B-A-T-H isn't so bad as some pups make it out to be. Just go with the flow!
Stay clean, y'all! Love,
Genny

That time of year
It's that time of year again. I just know it. Mom & dad brought another tree into our house. they are cleaning a lot, making secret plans. I have even heard the word B-A-T-H. That can only mean one thing. The most horrible day of the year - PARTY. It's always the same. Mom puts out a ton of food but won't share it with us - even the stuff on the coffee table is off limits as usual. But it smells sooooo good! Then all of these people come to our house! I run to my crate as soon as the first one arrives. Genny, for some reason, doesn't seem to mind. In fact, she goes up and greets them! They do give her scratchies and sometimes she even gets food out of one of them - the young ones are pretty gullible.
I am not taking any chances. I think I will just stay under here were they won't notice me. Hopefully, it will all be over soon.

A husky's dream
The weather humans are hinting that a Nor'easter could come our way next week. Some have even said the "s" word.
A husky can dream....
the above blog post is the opinion of a certain white husky and not necessarily the opinion of the poster. Thank you

Sunday at the Dog Park
Hi, everyone! Genny here! We had a very nice morning again today at the dog park, even though it was very humid. Lots of very nice doggies to play with and romp with.
This is Tucker. He's a youngster with lots of energy.

This is Buddy, who is just happy to be here
And this is another friendly guy, who we don't remember his name.
Shiloh was with us too, but his pictures didn't come out so well today.
We hope everypup is stayin cool and having a great day!

Care taker
Haroo all. Haven't posted in a while. Our mom has been under the weather, so we have been busy helping her recover from her surgery. She has a big boo boo in her head and a funny new haircut to go with it. But she's doing well, especially since I am on duty, taking care to make sure she scratches my belly as often as possible. That is the best medicine I can think of. And then, I make sure that she shares her snacks with Genny and me - can't lt her overindulge. We have also taken her out to the dog park to be sure that she stretches her paws and gets moving.
Dad is also helping by taking care of the day-by-day business and doing all of the driving. Genny's job, as usual, is GPS - Genny Positioning System - making sure that we don't make any bad turns and accidentally go back to the V-E-T or anything. Mom has seen a lot of those V-E-T types for humans lately, and we feel for her.
So, stay cool and take care of your humans!

V-E-T
Haroo all. Shiloh reporting in today. And I am none too pleased. I had been drinking a lot of water lately and not eating as much - lost some weight. And do you know what they did to me? They made me go to the V-E-T! I tried to resist getting out of the car. I knew something was up when my sis, Genny, didn't come with us. They poked me with needles! And then, if that wasn't enough, they took me to another V-E-T! There they shaved my belly! And put gooky stuff on it! My belly is naked! Mom wanted to take pictures of me, but I didn't think they were dignified, so I wouldn't let her.
I hear rumblings of them taking me back to our V-E-T today, something about more tests. They are very nice there, but I don't like their treats. I sure hope this is all over soon.
Hang in there and enjoy the long weekend. Maybe if I stare at dad long enough, he'll put the cold boxes in the windows...

Peek-a-Boo!
Ha Roo! We're not hiding. We promise. Though it might be nice to find a cool place to settle in for a while. We are experiencing a very early summer here. Boy is it hot! Too hot for huskies! And Dad hasn't gotten out the magic boxes yet. So, we're just laying low and keepin cool. I think it's going to be a long summer.
Hope you're all keeping cool too!
Ha Roo,
Shiloh.

Alpha romp
Haroo everypup! It's Shiloh here reporting in after some pretty cool action at the doggie park this morning. We found a couple of young Shepherdy kind of friends to play with who were especially rompy.
Now, as much as I L_U_V the doggie park, I am at heart a lone wolf. My priority when I am there is to gather information and report. I leave as many messages that I can, as I am the main editor of the park.
But today was a real day off and we haven't been able to get out too much lately, so I really felt it necessary to get some movement. Here we are really mixing it up. And this young fella thought he could just take over with his play bows and loud bark.
Genny was gettin in to the action too, but I was all about being my amazing alpha self. The young whipper snapper didn't have a chance, even if he did have a big voice. My subtle talk has much more meaning behind it. I am a Siberian of little words, using only those I feel necessary to get the point across.
So much fun! But then it began to rain, and I am NOT about the rain.. As soon as mom said home, I was ready.
Hope you all have an excellent weekend and remember - get those humans hairy and moving!

Husky Day at the Park!
Haroo! Shiloh here. What a great morning! Mom & dad left early and we though it would be a another boring day. But when they came back, we all got in the car and headed to my favorite place in the world - the dog park! And even more exciting is that when we got there we saw huskies! Lots and lots of huskies! We had such fun! Everypup was in a really good mood and got along great. We had such a good time, as you can see. So we thought we would share the pics with all of you today.
Here's to a great day for everyone!

Gettin out
A well deserved visit to the dog park. It must have been Husky morning, cuz we met a husky friend named Shane there - isn't he pretty?
Mom apologizes for the quality of the picture. She forgot her good camera and was stuck with just her cell phone.

Ninja Bunny
So, there it was, a cute lil bunny rabbit made it's way into our yard. Obviously, it had sinister designs or it would not have wondered into a yard with two fierce warriors dogs in it. Oh, we chased it, and we chased it, but alas, it alluded us.
Must have been a Ninja Bunny. It's the only explanation.

Ms. Daisy
We are reporting today with a heavy heart. Our dear, sweet Ms. Daisy has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. She was living quite happily at the MaPaw Farm when it was discovered that she had bone cancer. She was doing well on pain medication until earlier this week, when she had a seizure. We all felt that it was time to help her on to a happier place.
She was always happiest when she was with the humans she loved, had a warm and cozy place to lay her paws. While she stayed at the Stoutino Inn, she loved going to the dog park with Shiloh & Genny to sniff and stretch, as well as keep the young whipper snappers in line. She was a beautiful grrrl inside and gave warm and wonderful, if not a little stinky, kisses.
God Bless you, dear Daisy
