Meets and Greets

Haroo, everypup! Dunkin reporting in today. Foster mom says that all this nice weather means that spring is in the air and tis the season for Meets & Greets.

We spent a lovely day last week in very southern Chester County at a place called St. Anthony in the Hills. They held a great dog lovers event to help raise money for a Great Dane Rescue. Loads of people fell in love with me and Bravo there. He's the lil guy hanging here in the pictures with the yellow jacket on.

We spent last Sunday at church and it looks like we'll be going to another one this week. Foster grandpup & grandmum are having a volunteer event at their church and they invited MaPaw to bring over some doggies! Holy Rescues, that's what we'll be - hee hee.


Get me to the church on time and I can pray for a fur ever family to come and fall in love with me. Foster mom says that I can stay with them as long as I want to so she won't be praying too hard. She'll pray for the perfect family to come at the perfect time. I think she needs a snuggle, so I'll go for now.

A little time away

Haroo everyone! Mom here for a change. We know that we've been slacking in the blog department lately, but frankly, not much has been happening here at the Stoutino Inn lately. We humans have been busy with wrrk and giving the dining room a much needed facelift. We just completed refinishing the floors and I must say they look great.


We did take a little time away this past weekend. Shiloh went to visit his former foster parents at Camp Husky and our niece took care of Guinness & Dunkin while Dad & I went hiking in the woods up in Lycoming County PA. We were up there because I had a wrrk thing in that area. The hiking was hard! All uphill and rocky. We were very glad that the pups were not with us - their paws would not have liked all of the rocks we scrambled over. Though we did miss having our own personal pulling team to get us up that hill!


Anywoo, we thought we'd bring you this serene waterfall picture to get everyone through to the weekend. It was at one of the more restful spots on the hike and we enjoyed the quiet sounds of the water while we caught our breath.

Look at the bones!

Haroo, everypup. Shiloh reporting today. While Dunkin was on his brief visit elsewhere, mom, dad, Guinness and I all went on a hike to one of our favorite places, Green Lane Park. It's the place that has a great Scotch-Irish Festival every fall and allows rescues from all over the area to bring their doggies.

Anyroo, on this trip we found some interesting things. This sign proves that even horsie people have to clean up after their animals - nice to know that dog folks aren't the only ones.

This find was especially interesting to us! Look at the bones! Dad thinks they are from a small deer. Guinness & I really wanted to bring them home, but mom took the picture for us instead. Their motto is, "Leave the woods just as you found them" and we agree. But I did mark the trail, just in case we got lost.
