Playdate at Dogtown

We had a playdate with other huskies from MaPaw on Sunday. 16 doggies and their humans! It was very noisy but loads of fun. As you can see, Dogtown is an indoor dogpark. This way the silly humans don't have to worry about the weather.

All of the humans on the other side of the fence were eating pizza and not sharing it with us - NOT FAIR! We should at least get the crusts.
When Blogger decides to cooperate again, we'll put up a video of the action.

Mr. Dunkin, outside exploring on a sunny & brisk February day (unlike today which had 3 inches of snow!)

In the woods with the Stoutino Pack

Here we are, Dunkin, Guinness and Shiloh, ready for hikin. We took up the Yellow trail over at French Creek State Park - a 3.5 mile hike. It was a crisp and fall-like day, so we kept up a brisk pace.

Here is mom's point of view of the trail for most of that 3 miles.

We are very good hikers and we make sure to follow the rules. Like any good Siberian, were certain not to do any training during the hike. Guinness, being a good GSD, wanted to listen to mom and dad, but we told her: Rules are rules! We were also certain not to hunt or trap anything either. But for some reason, there wasn't anything to hunt or trap around anyway. Wonder why? Mom broke the rules by shooting her camera the whole trip.

We did sniff and mark the entire trail, just in case those yellow blazes were wrong, so we could get back to the car and take mom and dad home again. Hiking is hard work and we wanted to be sure to get home in time for dinner. Besides, mom and dad don't have fur, and after dark would be too cold for them.
Sasha has tagged us to say 7 weird things about ourselves. Weird huh? Hmmm....
1. Shiloh, the husky, sounds like a wounded baby harp seal when he tries to howl
2. Guinness, the GSD, is the best howler ever WoooooOOOOOO
3. Dunkin, who was pegged as a singer at the shelter, has not uttered a peep since coming to our house :D
4. Shiloh likes to show off his obedience training and "finishes" whenever there are treats involved
5. Guinness likes to give gooses to daddy under his towel after he gets out of the shower
6. Dunkin must be near mommy whereever she is in the house
7. We all enjoy tearing apart Mr Stuffie Skeeker Sqrrrll until he's nothin but fuzzy skin cuz sqrrlls are evil
Tag to anypup who hasn't done this one yet - Esp Cosi & Juno
Until next time, here's hoping you all have a great Valentines day. Snoses and kisses to everypup. Love, Shiloh, Guinness and Dunkin

Chillin' with Mr Dunkin

As you can see, Mr Dunkin has made himself right at home at the Stoutino Inn. He's even discovered the pomogranet couch for occasional lounging.

However, his favorite spot is laying right next to wherever Foster Mom happens to be. Foster Dad will do when mom isn't home for some reason.
Mom keeps trying to get a picture of Dunkin's blue eyed side, but he just isn't cooperating. In all other ways, Mr Dunkin is truely a gentleman. He takes treats very gently and loves to be pet and brushed. He is quiet as a mouse and does no jumping up at all - we've only seen him one the sofa twice. He even shares toys like a gentleman, making no fuss when Shiloh tries to "borrow" one from him. We wish every guest was as good as Mr Dunkin!
Mom & dad are planning a walk with all of us tomorrow on some hiking trails. Hopefully she'll remember the camera this time and we can share some of our adventures with our blogger buddies. If we can't have snow, then let's hope it isn't too cold so mom let's us hike for a while. Mom is definately not Siberian. She doesn't like to be cold! She will tough it out as long as we can all keep her warm and moving - and we are really good at that!
