Mom and Dad went to the local zoo on Saturday night for something called "Brew at the Zoo." It was a beer tasting event to raise money for charity. We didn't know who charity is, but mom explained that it's a lot like what we are all doing for Hike N' Howl, but the money goes to sick people.
Mom & Dad said that the zoo is very small but a nice place to bring kids and be outside looking at the animals. Mom says zoos can be neat, but it makes her sad to see animals in cages. It was also grossly hot & humid and no one felt 
good being outside, except for dad cuz he loves to drink & try new beers.Anyroo, they saw this a couple of great big kitties and some really cool birdies. They tasted the beers and had some food. The heat got too much for them, so they came home early - we didn't mind - more time with us!
Wonder what those kitties would be like to play with?

The cages make our Momma so sad but Dad likes to try new beers too. Did you Dad find any new favorites?

I love kitties and I love to play with them, but mom said those kittes are too big for me to play with. That one didn't look too friendly either!
There was one Raspberrry wheat that was fantastic. It was made by a local microbrewery
ooo...my daddy would have liked the beers....you should try going to the Philly Zoo...Mom and dad have a membership and they said the animals enclosures are very nice. Sad part though...no wolves. THe giant otters are mom's favorite. THey are like big swimming puppy dogs. Pretty cool. Too bad I can't tag along.

The beer tasting must have been yummy! We quite like beers though we don't get nearly as many types/brands out here in Malaysia...
In any case we're sure that the cages in your zoo are far better than ours. The condition of the animals and the way they are kept in ou zoo is really heartbreaking!

The beers are obviously popular with the men (and some of us women).
Don't think any of us like the cages.....

Wow! I would have loved to see that. I'm especially fond of any other animal no matter how scary Bipeds says they look! I would just play with them. Dad says I'm silly. -Rocky
