Well, Pippadog and everypup, we have met the potential adopters and, of course, everyone got along great. So, Misty is now spending the first night at her new furever family's house. Her new brother, Jesse dog, is a big playful goober and will keep her on her toes. He loves to play, but he's bigger than Shiloh, so it's gonna take lots of adjustment getting used to everything and everyone. They will keep in touch to tell us how she is doing, and they look like great doggy loving folks. They've had husky/GSD mixes before and new mom fell for her at Green Lane. she passed dad's approval & Jesse's approval very quickly. She will be very happy there, as long as she doesn't get hold of their chickens. Fresh eggs everyday! Woo Hoo!
Our mommy is very sad and misses Misty's kisses already. But she was a brave foster mommy and said she only cried a little bit in the car on the way home. We will stick close by her tonight, cuz daddy is away tonight too, and make sure she has lots of doggy love. We love you Misty! Woo!
Don't worry, Pippa, she will always be your grrlfriend. she told us to send you very many kisses.

Awww...that looks like a happy family! Mom was very optimistic about this one and she's had us cross all of our paws for the past couple days. I sure hope we can uncross them soon....this isn't very comfortable ::sigh::
ECHO - who's feeling a bit pretzel-like at the moment
P.S. She said if you run out of tissues she can bring some over.
Oh, woo! My mom has those salty wet things on her cheeks just READING about this!
Her new family looks really nice - is that a Labradog? He looks like a fun brother! And look at Misty! She's giving her new dad kissies!
We'll keep our paws crossed - but like Echo said, it's getting king of hard. Ha woo woo woo!
Hug your mom for us - she's a WONDERFUL biped to do this for Misty!!!
Luv,
Dave
Jesse dog is a mix of xome sort, but they don't know for sure. They guess Lab and maybe Rottie
That's great for Misty! I hope she will be super happy in her new home. You guys did a good job taking care of her.

Tell your mom it will be ok. Misty II has a great new furever home and that leaves your home open to help another doggy-in-need. We're sure it won't be long before another white husky or mushy mix joins you at the inn. Give you mom lots of kisses and tell her how great she is! Letting go of a foster doggy is never easy. Mom still talks about how she misses Maximoose and Kato...she was very happy she got to meet Max's new family at the hike.
Woo woo, Kelsey Ann
It's so great that Misty got a great furever home. Your mom is so wonderful to help dogs like Misty. :)

tat's really good news....hope every1 getting along well...
Woo hoo......I tagged you for my new game!
We're so happy for Misty, and sad for you and your mom. Know you'll all miss her, but looks like she got a grrrreat furever home. We've all had our paws crossed since your last post, too, you'll have to let us know when it's safe to change positions
Manykisses,
Bama & the RHP
Bye bye Misty. I wish you lots of luck and I so hope it really is your furever home, but I am so sad. I will always miss you. I am sure your mom will too.
I think I need lots of kisses from Guinness to help make me feel better.
Sad Pippa xx
Best wishes, Misty!
I took a break fostering because, well, we ended up keeping Mingus! We foster puppies now because I have no problem whatsoever giving poopy puppies back. Fostering the adult dogs, however, was really hard for me. My husband always wanted to keep them and my heart was broken over and over again. I admire the strength you have to foster the adults! You obviously do a great job!
I think it's safe to uncross the paws, we haven't heard anything other than good news so far. We love all of our fosters very much and each one is very special. For some reason, though, Misty was something extra special - maybe it was all those darned kisses! She was with us for a longer time too. We know she's in good hands.
Wooo. Misty looks like she loooves her new Dad and family! It's good that you only hear good news. I'm sure Misty would send you xoxoxo as often as she can, but just in case Mom... here's some kisses and hugs for you xxoxoxoxo. Hang in there Mom, you did a wonderful thing and we wooooove you too! -her almost twin-Mati.
