Haroo, everypup. Shiloh reporting today. Our friend Kat asked if mom got a nice present from dad for their anniversary - she did indeed. A beautiful pair of sparkly earrings. We aren't sure why biped decorate their ears, but mommy sure was thrilled.
Mom and dad also took us on an adventure for the anniversary celebration. We all went to a very special place to have our pictures taken. Willow Street Pictures in Reading Pa. Mom & dad said we were on our best behavior and we tried very hard to cooperate with the nice photographer. Dunkin didn't seem to like being in the spotlight much because the lights hurt his eyes, but Guinness and I posed nicely. They even let us sit on the furniture!
Maybe someday we'll be able to share those pictures with you all too, even though they are done by professionals. If you visit their website, you'll see they do a fantastic job taking pictures of us dogs and of bipeds.
It was hard work being a model and we were tuckered out at the end. Mom & dad went to a cooking class later and brought home some stuff called baklava - but they wouldn't share it with us. I think I'd better go and claw them to be sure they start sharing more.
Roo ya later! Love, Shiloh
This is the place where all are welcomed with open arms, as long as you don't mind a little dog hair

Daddy's new camera
Here is a great picture of Shiloh and his snow snooter
Here I am playing with my free bee - okay, what it left of my free bee. They keep trying to replace it with a new one, but it's just not the same and I am loyal to this one.
Here is Dunkin, doing what he loves best - riding in the car. He loves to stick his head out of the window and feel the breeze on his face. He also loves the attention he gets from bipeds as they drive past him.
We hope everypup has a fun and safe Holiday Weekend!

Kissin Cousins
Haroo, everypup. Shiloh reporting in today. We realize we have been very bad about blogging lately and for that we would like to apologize - and blame mom. She's been forgetting to take the camera with her while we've been on walks and stuff and she feels very badly that she hasn't been a very good secretary lately. However, they had a nice little adventure without us and since it involves some cool cousins, we decided to let her tell you about it.
Last year, we posted about a trip mom & dad took to our local zoo. You can click here to see that old post if you'd like. They went back to the Elmwood Park Zoo for a little biped's birthday party and took some really cool pictures of our cousins, the timber wolves.

The wolves were in a very springtime and playful mood - mom thinks that some wolfie love was in the air. We don't know much about that, but they sure are cool looking cousins.

They also took some pictures of another kind of dog - prairie dogs. They don't look at all like dogs to us, but that's what they are called. This guy must have been the poser of the bunch, or maybe he was their look out sentry.
And talk about your raw diet! This bob cat happened to be having one heck of a lunch when dad took this picture. Hey, we haven't had bones that big for a while - "Hey, mom! Can we have some big bones, please?" I'd better go claw her until she gets the right idea.
We hope you liked our zoo pictures. We promise to be more vigilant about getting mom to take her camera with her.
Later! Love, Shiloh

Holy Rescue
Haroo, everypup. Dunkin reporting again. Last post, I told you I was going to church and I thought you'd like to hear what it was like. It was Volunteer Sunday at the church where Foster Grandpup & Grandmom attend. They all share together their volunteer experiences with each other and learn about different ways to help others. Grandpup suggested that Foster Mom & I come to tell everyone about volunteering with a dog rescue. We had lots of fun. All the kids gave me loads of belly rubs and ear scratches and all the big bipeds said that I was handsome and well behaved. In fact, Pastor Beck said that I was well behaved enough that I could attend the service with mom. We sat in the back near the end of the pews, just in case. On the other end of the aisle was an older man who looked like he needed a cuddle. So, I went over to him and leaned against his knee and let him scratch my head. Grandpup said that was a really nice thing for me to do. It was a very nice way to spend a Sunday morning.

Meets and Greets
Haroo, everypup! Dunkin reporting in today. Foster mom says that all this nice weather means that spring is in the air and tis the season for Meets & Greets. We spent a lovely day last week in very southern Chester County at a place called St. Anthony in the Hills. They held a great dog lovers event to help raise money for a Great Dane Rescue. Loads of people fell in love with me and Bravo there. He's the lil guy hanging here in the pictures with the yellow jacket on.
We spent last Sunday at church and it looks like we'll be going to another one this week. Foster grandpup & grandmum are having a volunteer event at their church and they invited MaPaw to bring over some doggies! Holy Rescues, that's what we'll be - hee hee.
Get me to the church on time and I can pray for a fur ever family to come and fall in love with me. Foster mom says that I can stay with them as long as I want to so she won't be praying too hard. She'll pray for the perfect family to come at the perfect time. I think she needs a snuggle, so I'll go for now.

A little time away
Haroo everyone! Mom here for a change. We know that we've been slacking in the blog department lately, but frankly, not much has been happening here at the Stoutino Inn lately. We humans have been busy with wrrk and giving the dining room a much needed facelift. We just completed refinishing the floors and I must say they look great. We did take a little time away this past weekend. Shiloh went to visit his former foster parents at Camp Husky and our niece took care of Guinness & Dunkin while Dad & I went hiking in the woods up in Lycoming County PA. We were up there because I had a wrrk thing in that area. The hiking was hard! All uphill and rocky. We were very glad that the pups were not with us - their paws would not have liked all of the rocks we scrambled over. Though we did miss having our own personal pulling team to get us up that hill!
Anywoo, we thought we'd bring you this serene waterfall picture to get everyone through to the weekend. It was at one of the more restful spots on the hike and we enjoyed the quiet sounds of the water while we caught our breath.
Until next time, Love, Mom

Look at the bones!
Haroo, everypup. Shiloh reporting today. While Dunkin was on his brief visit elsewhere, mom, dad, Guinness and I all went on a hike to one of our favorite places, Green Lane Park. It's the place that has a great Scotch-Irish Festival every fall and allows rescues from all over the area to bring their doggies.Anyroo, on this trip we found some interesting things. This sign proves that even horsie people have to clean up after their animals - nice to know that dog folks aren't the only ones.

This find was especially interesting to us! Look at the bones! Dad thinks they are from a small deer. Guinness & I really wanted to bring them home, but mom took the picture for us instead. Their motto is, "Leave the woods just as you found them" and we agree. But I did mark the trail, just in case we got lost.
