Kissin Cousins

Haroo, everypup. Shiloh reporting in today. We realize we have been very bad about blogging lately and for that we would like to apologize - and blame mom. She's been forgetting to take the camera with her while we've been on walks and stuff and she feels very badly that she hasn't been a very good secretary lately.

However, they had a nice little adventure without us and since it involves some cool cousins, we decided to let her tell you about it.


Last year, we posted about a trip mom & dad took to our local zoo. You can click here to see that old post if you'd like. They went back to the Elmwood Park Zoo for a little biped's birthday party and took some really cool pictures of our cousins, the timber wolves.




The wolves were in a very springtime and playful mood - mom thinks that some wolfie love was in the air. We don't know much about that, but they sure are cool looking cousins.








They also took some pictures of another kind of dog - prairie dogs. They don't look at all like dogs to us, but that's what they are called. This guy must have been the poser of the bunch, or maybe he was their look out sentry.




And talk about your raw diet! This bob cat happened to be having one heck of a lunch when dad took this picture. Hey, we haven't had bones that big for a while - "Hey, mom! Can we have some big bones, please?" I'd better go claw her until she gets the right idea.

We hope you liked our zoo pictures. We promise to be more vigilant about getting mom to take her camera with her.
