Season's Greetings

Haroo, everypup & kitty. Guinness Grrrl here reporting today. A while back, we reported about a photo session mom and dad took us on for their anniversary. Well, here's some of the results - our holiday greeting cards with Shiloh and me as supermodels! Mom and dad said we were very good for the photographers and we want to apologise to Stormy, of the Army of Four, because we cooperated and failed our classes of non-cooperation on that day. We'll try and do better in the future.

We want to take this time to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season and the bestest New Year ever!

Bringing in the tree

Ciao, Everypup & kitty. Bacci here, and , for the record, I'd like to say that bipeds are pretty silly. Foster mom & dad have brought a tree into the house! Here I am, sitting all pretty next to the evidence. Why have they brought a tree into the house? They aren't using it the way I thought that they would, and they don't want me to either. But they sure are making a big fuss over this tree. They are hanging things on the branches and doing other silly things around the house too. Shiloh and Guinness say that this happens about once a year and it is worth all of the fuss because presents are involved at some point. We'll see what develops, I suppose, but I don't see any presents yet.

Mud Monster

We told you in the last post - mommy keeps wishing for winter so the ground would freeze. This is pretty much why. Daddy says I am the definition of MUD and they won't let me in the house like this. Bacci and I were just wrestling and this is how I turned out. He's just as bad but it doesn't show up as well on him. It sure was fun though!

Playin Rrrruffff

hee hee, Ciao everypup & kitty. Bacci here. Shiloh and I sure like playin ruff. We love wrestlin and gettin dirty in the mud too. You should see the big pile of dirty dog towels mom just had to wash. She keeps wishin for the cold and snow so the mud will freeze. Shiloh just wants the cold and snow for more playin. I'll play anytime, anywhere.

Haroo everypup and kitty. Guinness Grrl here. The Army of Four has requested some pictures of me and, well, mom has been busy sewing and quilting and not ready with the camera lately. So, I decided I would share an picture from when I was just barely 1 year old. If I look a little pink in this shot, it's because I had lost tons of my bewootiful fur to a nasty condition called demodex. Demodex mites are not contagious, but they sure are evil. I had a virus when I was just a puppy, and the mites took over about 80% of my body because my immune system couldn't kill them off. They burrow into the hair follicles and make you loose fur and they could be potentially fatal. It was scary! Mom & Dad had to put this nasty stuff on my to kill the mites - sure did stink! But I soon got better and now I have tons of fur to shed right along with the huskies.


Shiloh and Bacci are playing a lot and we've all been doing a lot of rompin in the mud and tracking dirt into the house. (mom grrrumbles). Bacci has a lump on his back hip that he went to the vet's office for - sure glad I didn't have to go! Shiloh's gonna be going soon too - he has a weepy eye that mommy is worrying over. Hopefully it's nothing but irritation from all the wrestling he's been doing.


Mom says that she's sorry she hasn't let us blog lately and promises to to better from now on. I really don't believe her. The holidaze are a comin' and I can tell that she's got herself into a crafty frenzy. Before we know it that crazy tree will be in our house and mom will go on a cleaning binge too! Humans!

Ahoy, yee mateys and princess types

Arrr, everyone. Today mom is reporting in because, well, the pups have been rather boring lately. Just rompin, and playin, and sleepin. I, on the other hand/paw have been very busy getting presents ready for the holidays. This example is a flannel quilt I've made with the cutest pirate flannel fabric I've ever seen. A couple of little boys we know are going to get one each. (Can pirates be cute? yes, I think so)

But I haven't forgotten the girls. Here is the pretty pink princess version for a certain niece.

Now, none of The Stoutino pack are as good at color selection as Dave form the Army of Four, but each Stoutino pack member has contributed copious amounts of fluff to each and every project to make them truely unique and special.

I am looking forward to giving these and seeing what the kids think of their crafty Aunt Dessie's creations. Oh, they'll get toys too - Santa is always sure of that.

I'm having way too much fun with this new hobby and I hope that Santa might bring me a new sewing machine for all of my hard work.

Well, I've got more names to check off of my list, so I'd better go now.
