Arrr, everyone. Today mom is reporting in because, well, the pups have been rather boring lately. Just rompin, and playin, and sleepin. I, on the other hand/paw have been very busy getting presents ready for the holidays. This example is a flannel quilt I've made with the cutest pirate flannel fabric I've ever seen. A couple of little boys we know are going to get one each. (Can pirates be cute? yes, I think so)But I haven't forgotten the girls. Here is the pretty pink princess version for a certain niece.
Now, none of The Stoutino pack are as good at color selection as Dave form the Army of Four, but each Stoutino pack member has contributed copious amounts of fluff to each and every project to make them truely unique and special.
I am looking forward to giving these and seeing what the kids think of their crafty Aunt Dessie's creations. Oh, they'll get toys too - Santa is always sure of that.I'm having way too much fun with this new hobby and I hope that Santa might bring me a new sewing machine for all of my hard work.
Well, I've got more names to check off of my list, so I'd better go now.

Our buddy Maverick the Pirate would be proud! I can tell just by looking that the husky fur has added just the right touch.

Nothing says love better than dog hair and fluff! The quilts look very cozy for naps and doggy dreams.

Woo! Those are bee-woo-tiful! And nothing quite says "snuggle" like flannel! AND it's good at holding onto Sibe fluff (and GSD fur!), so they'll be EXTRA special!
