Grrrrrr & Yum

Haroo, everypup, Shiloh here gettin very frrrustrated with blogger. I cannot seem to load this really cool video of me showing Bacci how huskies play rrruff. He does a very good job of keeping up and even sweet Guinness gets in on the action. But blogger is being silly, so I can't share it now. Maybe it's just too rrruff for blogger. sigh.

Mom is makin a big pot of meatballs and sausage and the house smells all yummy. It's a big football day at our house cuz the Steelers are gonna play the Eagles. Mom is a Steelers fan and dad is an Eagles fan, so I'm gonna play referee and then get some of those meatballs! YUM!

Pee Ess: Dunkin wants everyone to know that he's doin just grrreat at his new fur-ever home. They love him to bits and he's gettin spoiled by the minute. He's meeting lots of new doggie and biped friends too. His new mom emails our mom almost everyday to say how much they love him. Isn't that grreat?

Introducing Bacci

Harro, everypup. Shiloh here to introduce you to our newest foster bro, Bacci. That word, mom says, means "kisses" in Italian and Bacci certainly does love to give her kisses. he's a big boy, but at only a year old, he still thinks he's a puppy. He kisses and crawls onto her lap for snuggles.

You'll notice that Bacci is not a husky. You may have forgotten that while we love MaPaw Siberian Husky Rescue, we also love GSD's here, so we foster for Save A Shepherd Rescue Alliance as well. Guinness thinks that it is about time one of her cousins got to come into the house and I like him a lot too. He's very playful and we wrestle a lot. I cannot wait until his kennel cough is all better and we can take him to the dog park.

Please help us welcome Bacci into the Stoutino Inn and Foster Kennel. You'll hear more from him after her gets settled.

BTW, Chewy will be going to another foster home on Saturday, so we wish him a fond farewell and good luck finding a forever home too. It was sure fun playing with him too.

Gotcha Day for Dunkin

It is a very bittersweet morning here at the Stoutino Inn because our darling Sir Dunkin left with his new Fur-Ever Family today. They are the sweetest people on the planet and he will be completely spoiled rotten in his new home. Mom has not cried yet - okay, she cried a bit last night. But she knows that he is in good hands. He is with the absolutely most perfect family for him and that's what matters most.

Farewell Foster Bro and stay sweet!

3. Echo at the The Daily Echo

4. Cosmos & Juno at Woos & Neighs - The Mullin Clan

Updates from Dunkin

Roo, all of you blogger doggies. Dunkin reporting in today to bring you up to date on the happenings at the Stoutino Inn and Foster Kennel. The interloper is quite annoying, but I will tolerate him for now because foster mother assures me that he will only be here temporarily. The little whipper-snapper can be very endearing at times, but he has this tendency to get right where you don't wish him to be - such as in my face. I tell him no and he listens, as it should be. I much prefer the quiet and very laid back Guinness, who is very much a quality lady. Shiloh can go out and play with the interloper and keep him busy for me.

Foster mother has been very excited about something. She says that we will be going to a special event this weekend, the Green Lane Scotch Irish Festival. She tells me that this is not only a fun place to learn about the Scotch Irish Culture and listen to lots of howling music, but also many rescues have booths there and we foster dogs go to hopefully meet potential new families. But foster mother has been hinting that I am going to meet a particular family. This is exciting. Someone wants to meet me! We promise to have lots of pictures and all of the news from the festival. We just hope that the weather won't be too bad on Saturday - the remnants of a hurricane may make the day dreary and wet. Something tells me that it will still be an important day. I had better go and rest. I want to be at my very best.
