Haroo!  It is finally cool enough to open the windows and take in all of the great smells coming in with the breeze.

I think I smell fall on its way.....

Sunday at the Dog Park

Hi, everyone!  Genny here!  We had a very nice morning again today at the dog park, even though it was very humid.  Lots of very nice doggies to play with and romp with.

This is Tucker.  He's a youngster with lots of energy.

This is Buddy, who is just happy to be here

And this is another friendly guy, who we don't remember his name.

Shiloh was with us too, but his pictures didn't come out so well today.

We hope everypup is stayin cool and having a great day!

Care taker

Haroo all.  Haven't posted in a while.  Our mom has been under the weather, so we have been busy helping her recover from her surgery.  She has a big boo boo in her head and a funny new haircut to go with it.  But she's doing well, especially since I am on duty, taking care to make sure she scratches my belly as often as possible.  That is the best medicine I can think of.  And then, I make sure that she shares her snacks with Genny and me - can't lt her overindulge.  We have also taken her out to the dog park to be sure that she stretches her paws and gets moving.

Dad is also helping by taking care of the day-by-day business and doing all of the driving.  Genny's job, as usual, is GPS - Genny Positioning System - making sure that we don't make any bad turns and accidentally go back to the V-E-T or anything.  Mom has seen a lot of those V-E-T types for humans lately, and we feel for her.

So, stay cool and take care of your humans!

Roo,
 Shiloh

V-E-T

Haroo all.  Shiloh reporting in today.  And I am none too pleased.  I had been drinking a lot of water lately and not eating as much - lost some weight.  And do you know what they did to me?  They made me go to the V-E-T! I tried to resist getting out of the car.  I knew something was up when my sis, Genny, didn't come with us.  They poked me with needles!   And then, if that wasn't enough, they took me to another V-E-T!  There they shaved my belly!  And put gooky stuff on it!  My belly is naked!  Mom wanted to take pictures of me, but I didn't think they were dignified, so I wouldn't let her.

I hear rumblings of them taking me back to our V-E-T today, something about more tests.  They are very nice there, but I don't like their treats.  I sure hope this is all over soon.

Hang in there and enjoy the long weekend.  Maybe if I stare at dad long enough, he'll put the cold boxes in the windows...

It is with a heavy heart that we report about our former foster brother, Scotty.  His family called to say that Scotty went to the Rainbow Bridge this week.  They had only had him as part of their family for a short while - he was adopted in November.

God Speed dear brother.  Run free.

Peek-a-Boo!

Ha Roo!  We're not hiding. We promise.  Though it might be nice to find a cool place to settle in for a while.  We are experiencing a very early summer here.  Boy is it hot!  Too hot for huskies!  And Dad hasn't gotten out the magic boxes yet.  So, we're just laying low and keepin cool.  I think it's going to be a long summer.

Hope you're all keeping cool too!

Ha Roo,
Shiloh.

Alpha romp

Haroo everypup!  It's Shiloh here reporting in after some pretty cool action at the doggie park this morning.  We found a couple of young Shepherdy kind of friends to play with who were especially rompy.

Now, as much as I L_U_V the doggie park, I am at heart a lone wolf.  My priority when I am there is to gather information and report.  I leave as many messages that I can, as I am the main editor of the park.

But today was a real day off and we haven't been able to get out too much lately, so I really felt it necessary to get some movement.  Here we are really mixing it up.  And this young fella thought he could just take over with his play bows and loud bark.

Genny was gettin in to the action too, but I was all about being my amazing alpha self.  The young whipper snapper didn't have a chance, even if he did have a big voice.  My subtle talk has much more meaning behind it.  I am a Siberian of little words, using only those I feel necessary to get the point across.

So much fun! But then it began to rain, and I am NOT about the rain..  As soon as mom said home, I was ready.

Hope you all have an excellent weekend and remember - get those humans hairy and moving!

Roo,
Shiloh
