What a weekend!

Hello there. Scott here and I must say that I have had the most excellent weekend. Fabulous fall weather we're having in southeast Pennsylvania - crisp and sunny.

Here I am in all of my bronze glory at the Fido Fest, in Salem County, NJ on Saturday. A lovely, albeit windy, day was had by all.

This young man is Dash. He has the advantage of youth and small stature to lure the crowds away from me, especially the pretty girls. But he is a well behaved young chap so I shall forgive him.

That was until this young whipper snapper came along. All of the women just ohhhed and ahhhhed all over him. It was just embarrassing. And then he played into their hands by kissing them!

Thank goodness it was time to come home soon after that. At least the weather was lovely.

Today was much better. My foster bother, sister and I all went to the lovely wooded dog park. Genny gets to play catch to her heart's content. Shiloh sniffs and plays at being the Great White Hunter, whist I enjoy the air and amaze everyone with my bronze magnificence.

We all hope that you had a good weekend as well.
Well, I am off to recover from all of my excursions.

Cheerio!
Scott

Hi There!

Hey there puppers! Genny checkin in with you all today. Wow, has it been a really long time since we've blogged with all of our furry friends. We are so sorry to have neglected you! Our secretary - Mom - got a new job earlier this year and everything has gone to pot. But we wanted you all to know that we are still here, going to the dog park, and hanging out with our new foster friend, Scott.

Scott is a mellow sort of dude, who enjoys sniffing and being zen. He really takes each moment and relishes every second. However, he does like to share his observations with anyone who will listen. He's quite a chatty fellow for one so mellow - hee hee.

He came to our Inn because his owners were moving into an assisted living facility - and can you believe they do not allow dogs! How absurd! We assist with all sorts of things! I especially like to assist in the kitchen...but back to Scott.

Our new foster bro has had a hard adjustment to life at the Inn. He's never had to live with other doggies before. He wasn't quite sure what to make of things here, but Shiloh and I have been showing him the ropes and he's doing just fine now. And we hear that a potential adopter is already interested in him!

Mom says she's sorry about the picture quality - her fancy new iPad doesn't take such great pictures sometimes.

Anywoo, we promise to check in more often and claw mom if she lets things go on for too long.

Love and kisses,
Genny

Party time!

Hi pup friends! Genny here to tell you all about the party we had at our house. Lots of our favorite humans came over to eat lots of food. Some even shared with us! When it got dark outside, they had a fire and roasted what they called marshmallows - those are are the fluffy white things on the ends of the sticks. They, for some reason, didn't want to share these with us doggies, though I gave them the best mind meld I could give. the best thing about the party is that my bestest friend, Isabeau, came too! She is sooo much fun. Shiloh doesn't like parties as much as we do, so you don't see him in the pictures. We sure had enough fun for him though!

Saturday in the Park with .....

Haroo, all you cool pups. Shiloh here, filling you in on our crazy Saturday adventures. first, I must ask if you recognize our visitor in the middle of the crazy pack from the dog park? That's right, it's Miss Daisy! She's visiting us for the weekend and it is such a nice day that we just had to take her to our favorite place. She always loved the park as much as Genny and I do. We met a lost of fun friends today, such as the pair of chocolate lab pups, a beagle dude, and the silly border collie mix that's up on the human bench.

Here's my sis Genny chasing Darwin the beagle. She loves to play chase and Darwin can run for days. Maybe he has some husky in there somewhere?

Here I am, in all of my awesome alphaness, showing your Charlie pup who's in charge. Darwin is helping me with his senior wisdom.

Daisy, Genny and I had a great time at the park and it showed on the way home. Here is Daisy chillin out in the Stoutino mobile on the way home. We stopped by another fav place, the pet store! Daddy said we needed to load up on our favorite cookies - bacon and cheese!

Dad also got me a surprise - Lambchop! Now, I usually don't play with toys, but Lambchop is soft and cuddly and extra squishy, so I thought I should take her and inspect before anyone got to her. Dad got some other stuff for Genny, and she proceded to give her toy a squeekectomy right away. But Lambchop is all mine!

Hope you all have a great weekend and we'll bark at ya soon.

Haroo!

GPS

Howdy, pups! It's Genny. One of my jobs at the Stoutino Inn is as GPS - Genny's Positioning Service. Here I am in action, helpin Mommy find her way to the dog park. I have to be sure she goes the right way, otherwise she makes a wrong turn and we end up at the VET! So, I am designated co-pilot when we all go out to be sure she doesn't stray.

So glad that we made it! It was such a nice day at the park. Lots of sniffs to sniff and not too hot.

See ya later, pups!
Love, Genny

Genny, Quilt Model

Hi, everypup! Genny here. Here's my mommy's latest quilty project. I am helping to show it off to it's best advantage. Aren't I a big helper? Mommy calls this technique Free Motion Raw Edge Applique. She says that you cut the forms out like snowflakes, glue baste them down and them free motion quilt all over everything. I don't know what she's really talking about, but I like the pretty bright colors. And I wanted to be in the picture cuz I like pretty things.

Have a colorful day!

Love,
Genny
