New Friends & a Slumber Party

Hi everyone - it's me, Genny! We met some new friends at the dog park this weekend. This Akita pup is fun to play with. And here Daisy and I are checking out this cute little poodle mix.

This big GSD is named Cisco and he's so calm and laid back. You'd never know he's only 2 years old. The black lab here is getting a good scratch in a favorite spot by my daddy. You can tell he really likes it. Shiloh was doing a good job of being a lone wolf, so he missed getting his picture taken.
Guess what??? We're gonna have a sleepover guest tonight! Sarge, from MaPaw, is coming up out way to visit Harleysville Vet tomorrow, so he's gonna spend the night with us. Won't that be fun???? Mom says she promises to take pictures. Cool, a Slumber Party!!!!

Sunday in the Dog Park

Sunday in the dog park with a whole pack of new friends. We met a burmese, a cattle dog, a pug and even another husky! It was finally cool enough to go outside and spend some quality time in the woods sniffin, and snortin. What fun!

Just Chillin in Front of the Tube

Hi, everypup! Shiloh here. We've been not doing too much lately - it's been waaaay too hot for huskies to be too active. So, here we are - Genny and I, taking in some tube time, just chillin in front of the air conditioner.

How do all of you keep cool? Mom and dad keep the air on for us and give us ice cubes to munch.

We haven't been to the dog park much lately either - way too hot. But we got to go on Sunday morning when the weather finally broke and things cooled off a bit. Here's a pic of Daisy chillin by the watering hole. She really likes going to the dog park - can't you tell by the big smile on her face?

I hope all of you have good ways to keep cool during these dog days of summer. Keep chillin, my friends!

Shiloh

Good sniffs at the dog park

Hello everyone. Miss Daisy here. We've been taking a lot of trips to the dog park lately, especially on weekend mornings when it's the coolest. Here I am checking the latest news from all of the other dogs that have visited.

I like this dog park a lot. It has a lot of shade trees and easy places for us more mature ladies to walk. But it's also big enough for the young whipper-snappers to run and get the wildness out of their system.

Other times I take it easy at the Stoutino Inn in the air-conditioning. When I'm not lounging, I am keeping Shiloh & Genny in-line. They get pretty rough around me, so I tell them to knock it off or take it somewhere else. I also make sure that I tell foster mom or dad when it's time to eat. I am very good at telling time. I also make sure that they get up at a reasonable time in the morning. If it weren't for me, they'd be really lazy and sleep in.

I like to follow foster mom around the house. Lately she's spent a lot of time in her quilting studio. She really likes that fabric! I haven't figured out what job I can help her with yet, but I'm sure to think of something soon.

Until next time, RUFF!

Daisy

Sweet Miss Daisy

Sweet Miss Daisy in her favorite activity - sleeping at mommy's feet and snoring softly. She likes to keep mom company where ever she goes in the house. All mom needs to do is look down and she'll find Daisy right there. Daisy is one of the sweetest dogs ever. We're glad she's hanging out with us.

Dog Park kind of day

Haroo, puppers. It's Shiloh here. We were having one of those days on Saturday - you know the kind where you try your best to be good, but just been cooped up too long with all of the rain and such? Well, after that kind of day, Mom & Dad decided that a visit to the dog park was in order on Sunday morning before it got too hot.

Genny was especially excited - she'd only been to the park a couple of times before and really likes to chase all of the puppers we meet there. Here she is telling me all about her last run.

Here is Genny talking to a new friend and asking if it's okay if she plays with her. Genny is very polite that way.

Here I am leading us on an exercise run - gotta keep in shape to impress the ladies!

Here's Daisy - she was there too! She likes following the slower folks, like mom & dad.

It was a bewootiful day, but then it turned pretty hot - too hot for huskies - so mom said it was time for us to go home in the shade. I agree that we shouldn't overdo the heat.
See roo next time, puppers!
Haroo,
